The views here over the water at sunset and also downtown are simply spectacular. The food was excellent, featuring a blend of European dishes and preparations, combined with typical Alaskan meats (king crab, salmon, halibut, cod) and some they clearly had to go beyond Alaska to get (angus beef and foie gras). A good variety of side vegetables are available. They are apparently famous for flaming bananas, but we had some kind of chocolate caramel concoction. While it is an expensive restaurant, it is very much worth it. They also have an extensive wine list. Service is very professional and attentive.
The Crow’s Nest offers a truly spectacular view of Anchorage—an unforgettable backdrop for our grand finale after a wonderful Alaskan cruise and scenic train ride to Denali. From start to finish, the service was exceptional—warm, attentive, and professional. The food was absolutely outstanding, with every course—from the salad to the dessert—prepared and presented beautifully. The salmon and steak were outstanding. I would highly recommend dining here if you're looking for a memorable culinary experience in Anchorage. Don’t hesitate—you won’t be disappointed!
My friends and I had a great experience here celebrating a birthday! The service was top notch and the views from our table were amazing. Each of us enjoyed our meal throughly. They even did something special for my friend’s birthday! I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Anchorage!
Excellent restaurant! So glad we were able to snag a reservation here. On clear evenings the 360 view is outstanding. The service was excellent, the wine menu was overwhelming in the best way, and the food was very tasty. My favorite dishes were the halibut and the cheese plate. Highly recommend both of those dishes!
A truly exceptional dining experience. Expect a large bill, but don’t let that scare you away. My wife and I celebrated her birthday here on Valentine’s Day and enjoyed the chef’s tasting menu with a wine pairing unique to the evening. From start to finish, the menu delivered brilliant flavors, exceptional balance, a well-rounded dining experience, and an outstanding wine pairing. Our servers were attentive and on point all evening. As a side note, they have a cocktail that seems to be a take on a Vieux Carré—the North Range, I think. It was exceptional: a perfectly balanced drink. I’d return just to have another. All in all, an expensive ticket, but well worth the experience.
Went here for our 10th anniversary for some fine dining and we were not disappointed at all! The service we received was excellent!! The hostess even told us happy anniversary as she checked us in at our table which I was impressed with. Drink waiter did everything exceptional treating us like royalty. The waiter was well versed in all of the menu and made sure we had everything we needed. She worked hard along with everyone else. The atmosphere! Well for Alaska, this place is well kept and very clean. Nothing was out of order! Our table, window side, was a thing of absolute beauty! All high class! The food! Tasted wonderful and was all made to perfection. The Venison was made to my liking along with King Crab and corn bisque leaving no complaints at all!! Thankful for the happy anniversary chocolate dish. Thanks for the memories! Applause to all at Crow’s Nest!!
The Crow’s Nest will always have a special place in my heart. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and now in my 30s I can really appreciate how special it is. The food was incredible, the cocktails were delicious, the caviar was some of the best, and the view was absolutely stunning no matter how many times I’ve seen it. Everything feels elevated but still comfortable, like fine dining without the stuffiness.
Absolutely wonderful dinner experience. Dropped $600 including tip, but was so worth it. Local to the area but took a visiting family member to celebrate their birthday. Great service, prompt but not over bearing, never an empty water glass, dishes removed at appropriate times. 10/10 will go back and recommend to family and friends.
The view is not much to talk about. Service is great. Food is good. I think for anchorage it is five stars. It would be less in a major city but overall good experience. Squash salad was tasty. Black cod was not the best but decent. Again, fine dining options are limited up there in Alaska. This is the pinnacle.
This place is completely top notch. I'd landed a date with a lovely and interesting woman and was really hoping to make a good impression. The Crow's Nest did not disappoint. Beginning with a great hostess, a beautiful view, and a lovely wine list it only went up from there. The food was amazing, the server was awesome, and the banana foster dessert was sublime. The magic seems to have worked. She's agreed to go out again. The only concern is finding a second date that measures up.
